| Revenues rose slightly from a year ago on steady orders, based on its strong presence in the IT solutions for medical industry. Earnings at operating level returned to the red, hit by rising costs for research projects and salaries. Nevertheless, net profit rose as BITComputer sold some land and building to secure funds and then reflected them to non-operating income. |
| BITComputer controls more than 70% of the market for video EMR. As big hospitals tend to switch video EMR to Full EMR, the move could help it improve revenues. Revenues are forecast to rise, given its strong presence, because it is difficult for companies to make inroads into the IT solution business for medical industry. BITComputer joined KT to build a remote health monitoring system based on ubiquitous sensor network in Seosan, South Chungcheong province. |
