| Firm's sales and operating profit sharply rose, due to sales increase deriving from favorable tune in exports of GM Daewoo, a major client. Firm's performance sharply improved, due to increase in gain on valuation of investments using the equity method, deriving from profit increase due to sales increase and performance improvement of subsidiaries, and net profit increase stemming from gain on valuation of investments using the equity method. Firm's various stability indices show slight improvement compared to a year earlier, in view of lowering debt ratio thru continual repayment of borrowings. |

Firm's biz revenue growth and profitability improvement are expected, thanks to diversification of clients including orders from Kia Motors' New Carens and Hyundai Motor's BH project (seat parts). Firm expands biz scope by establishing a subsidiary, Pos-Austem Auzhou Automotive, in China thru a joint venture with POSCO into China and other foreign countries. |
