| Firm's sales rose compared to the previous year, thanks to domestic sales increase deriving from demand expansion from domestic auto industry, direct exports rise by subsidiaries abroad and exports increase of cars to Eastern Europe and Central and South America. Firm's cost o sales ratio declined due to joint cost savings program with Hyundai Motor, and performance improvement of subsidiaries in Turkey and Canada; firm's profitability improved.
